Located in the two Fraser Hall lobby first floor display cases, ParaDigital consists of handmade contemporary artists’ books, created by students in Professor Ken Cooper’s ENGL 439 “Unplugged” course.
Each of the physical objects is accompanied by a QR code that links to corresponding digital material viewable on most smartphones: aim your camera and click on the hyperlink. The various projects here aim to explore what is lurking in this uncanny valley.
