Milne Library welcomes our new Scholarly Communications Librarian and liaison to Sciences and Mathematics, Jonathan Grunert.
Jon’s background includes experience in the sciences and with instruction at Colorado State University–Pueblo and Virginia Tech.
He earned an MS in Library Science from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC; and an MA in History, an MS in Science and Technical Studies, and has nearly completed a PhD in Science and Technical Studies, all from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA.
Jon is excited about working with faculty and students in exploring publishing opportunities and promoting research. As a trained historian of science, he’s currently researching and writing about taxidermy.
Outside of the library, Jon enjoys attending concerts and hiking, and is looking forward to exploring the hiking trails in Letchworth.
