Fraser Hall Library hosted a series of events to celebrate the opening of the Library and share information about library services during the week of February 7, 2022. We want to express thanks to everyone who attended and participated in the celebratory events! The library staff really enjoyed the opportunity to celebrate with you and share information about all that the Library does to support the success of our students and faculty.

Here is a quick recap of what took place:

The Jim Kimball Band played an hour-long set of lively music in the Library Lobby.

Library, CIT HelpDesk, and Writing Learning Center staff greeted students, answered questions, and handed out giveaway items during the Library Services Open House, and three students won raffle prizes!

Library staff led tours through the Schrader Hall Stacks and told the story of how 65,000 books arrived in Schrader Hall and the Library IDEA Committee hosted an interactive workshop about DEI in the Library.

The Library plans to host more events in the future which is why your feedback through our survey is so important!
