The ELC: An Early Childhood Learning Community at Work compiles six case studies from a practicum model designed and coordinated by the authors at SUNY Cortland: Heather Bridge, Lorraine Melita and Patricia Roiger; in which action research approaches were applied to teaching challenges in early childhood classrooms. Appropriate for practiced educators as well as educators in training, this text provides a real world look into applying Learning Standards in early childhood classrooms.
