Are you campus-curious? In 1871, when the Geneseo Normal School opened, the campus comprised just one building – one very large building, to be sure – that was affectionately known as “Old Main.” Over the next 150 years, as the school evolved from a teacher training school into a liberal arts college and part of SUNY, the campus evolved, too.
A new exhibit in Fraser Hall chronicles this growth with photos (including aerial) and maps from the College Archives, plus fun facts about many campus buildings’ namesakes. You’ll find the exhibit in the wall cases directly opposite the main entrance to Fraser, just beyond the lobby.
