Hour of Code Workshop SUNY Geneseo

Curious about coding? *The Hour of Code* is a global movement introducing kids to computer science, inspiring them to learn more, breaking stereotypes, and empowering them to solve challenging problems.

In this workshop SUNY Geneseo students and staff will provide children with a set of challenging activities that teach them valuable computational concepts.  This workshop is open to the public.

Date: Saturday, February 17th
Time: 10am – Noon
Location:  Wadsworth Public Library, 24 Center Street, Geneseo, NY

Important things to know if you are thinking about attending this workshop:

1) Please bring your own device to participate (a laptop, tablet or smartphone) – we will try to pair students who are unable to bring their own device
2) The first workshop is for children ages 10-13*
3) Sign up sheets will be available at Wadsworth Public Library – registration is required
