Student Virtual Exhibition! Library and Art History Collaborative Project

Snake and Flower, watercolor by Abigail Chenette
During Spring 2020, SUNY Geneseo students explored watercolor and drawing techniques under the guidance of Emiritus Professor of Art History Thomas MacPherson. As many students, they began with in person classes and ended up receiving feedback through Zoom and emails. However, this situation was not an impediment for them to do beautiful works of art and demonstrate their abilities. The following exhibition shows the students’ work and showcases a “Meet the artist” section where you can learn a little more about some of the participants. Each art piece is commented on by the professor.  Major kudos to our Arts & Humanities Librarian Alessandra Otero for collaborating on this project. Welcome and enjoy!
