Library Staff Pets: Meet Ivy!

Meet Donna‘s dog, Ivy!

“My little Ivy is a rescue I adopted one week before we went into quarantine in March of 2020. The RPD found her wandering around in the snow November of 2019 right after we had that big storm. The vet thinks she may have been 4 about years old. Ivy had extreme frostbite and some neurological damage so she is a special needs pup. She has an issue going up and down steps. Ivy has anxiety issues, if we have a thunder storm she has to wear a thunder shirt. Also because of her anxiety issues on the cute side when she goes outside to potty she carries one of her little toys with her. I have had her DNA analysed and she is 73% Toy and Miniature Poodle, 16% Bichon Frise, 5% Chihuahua, 2% Pekingese and 2% Tibetan Spaniel. Despite Ivy’s handicap/issues she is still playful and very loving. I am very glad that I was able to adopt her!” 💖
