Effective on July 1, 2022, the Library will gain access to a new database and will lose access to a total of eight databases.
The College community will gain access to an ebook collection from EBSCO which features primary source texts on topics of diversity, equity, and inclusion. The database is titled “Diversity and Ethnic Studies eBook Subscription Collection”. More information about the collection is available on the product website.
The College community will lose access to the following databases: Alt HealthWatch, Associates Program Source, Computer Source, Energy and Power Source, Entrepreneurial Studies Source, Fuente Academica Plus, Religion and Philosophy Collection, and Vocational and Career Collection.
The Library provides access to these resources as part of the SUNYConnect subscription bundle that is centrally negotiated and licensed through SUNY. The current contract expires on June 30, 2022 and the changes described above will go into effect with the new contract.
