Workshop: Open (free!) Educational Resources for Teacher Candidates

GOLD.OERYou’ve just graduated from college. What are you going to do now? If you are like other graduating seniors, you may be overwhelmed and frustrated knowing that you no longer have access to the myriad paid resources offered by your campus library. How will you continue your research, plan for your lessons, or find professional development opportunities? In this workshop, an education librarian and practicing teacher will share some of the strategies and resources gleaned during their personal experiences with teaching and learning. Students will walk away with a plethora of resources and specific examples of how to use them. Students are required to bring a lap top to the workshop.

Thursday, March 26th
