Taking OA Week into the next 51 weeks

At the end of Open Access Week, we encourage you to extend your OA use throughout the year. Open Access is more important than a single week, and it’s something you can do the whole year.

There are many ways to celebrate Open Access throughout the year; below is a partial list of ways you can take OA Week through to the next International OA Week:

  • Participate in the Geneseo Authors Celebration (October 28, 2020)
  • Include OA material in your classes and your research
  • License your work with a Creative Commons license
  • Support library publishing
  • Use institutional repositories to access OA material
  • Share code
  • Support scholarly communications initiatives
