Looking for a quick, easy-to-use and free tool that will enliven personal introductions, provide basic starters to a topic, market an event/service, or tell an engaging story – all without “saying” much?
Digital storytelling has become an increasingly popular method of reaching students with various learning styles and attention spans. Numerous software tools are being developed to allow educators and students to share their stories through the mediums of image, sound and minimal text.
Animoto is one such tool that is easy-to-use and creates professional “trailers” to entice an audience to learn even more.
Come see what Animoto has to offer, how to use it and how it can be incorporated into an educational setting. With any luck, you can leave this workshop with a custom-made video to share with your next class (please bring a laptop).
