Milne Library is once again helping to prepare AOP’s Summer Program students for their academic life by guiding them in a short research project that includes a poster session. We would like to invite you to participate in this event and support some of Geneseo’s newest students.
Students will be creating posters with their research findings on a topic related to the theme of civic engagement and the ideas contained in the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. We invite anyone who is available Wednesday, August 1, 10:30 a.m.–12 p.m., to stop by the lower level of Milne to view the posters and chat with the students about their research. Light refreshments will be provided.
Please come! It is a fun event that faculty and staff enjoy very much; here are comments made by visitors in past years:
- “I enjoyed talking to the students about their projects. They were lively and thoughtful in their explanations.”
- “All of the posters looked great and I enjoyed seeing the look of pride on the students’ faces as they talked about their work.”
- “I thoroughly enjoyed it 🙂 I am always so impressed by our students and love opportunities to interact with them.”
- “The students were very well prepared and well informed.”
Please contact Sherry Rhodes, rhodes@geneseo.edu if you have any questions.
Thank you very much, & we look forward to seeing you on August 1!
