Access to most of the commonly used styles are just a click away.  You can find them on the Milne Library website under Research Help, Citation Guide.

If you’d prefer a print copy, the Service Desk has copies available for a 4 hour loan.

Additionally, a reference librarian can walk you through citing any or those sources that you might find tricky.  Reference librarians are available during the hours listed below:

Monday-Thursday:  10:00AM-10:00PM
Friday:   10:00AM-2:00PM
Saturday:   12:00PM-5:00PM
Sunday:  3:00PM -9:00PM

Flying During Winter Break? Get Free WiFi from Skype.

If you’re traveling by air between December 21-27, you may get free internet access at select airports across the nation.  According to the official Skype blog, the company will offer free wifi to travelers using PCs, Macs and iOS devices at 50 airports (map of participating airports). Once signed into Skype, travelers can check their wireless network connection to access free hotspots.

Tools for organizing your research projects

If you’re like most students at this point in the semester, you are probably juggling multiple research papers or projects.   Keeping track of your research from all those various places you have to look (book catalogs, journal databases, and websites) can sometimes be challenging.

There are a number of free citation management tools on the market that can help you get organized. These tools will help you save and organize all of your research in one place, much like iTunes does for your music files.  Some of them will even insert citations and bibliographies into your paper for you.  Check out this library guide to explore some of the more popular tools available.
